Vocal Classes

Vocal form of which can be categorized into Indian classical vocal, semi-classical and light music. These classes will include basic/advance techniques of classical singing with light music like Bollywood songs, bhajans, gazals etc.

Harmonium / Piano

Tabla is the most important Indian rhythm instrument which is widely used to accompany classical performances, light music, songs etc. It is also studied by singers to build strong rhythm sense.

Sitar / Rabab

The Rabab of Guru Nanak followed him as his shadow for more than 27 years on his travels around the world, played by his beloved companion Bhai Mardana. This was the start of the Sikh Rababi tradition of singing Shabad Kirtan according to the hukam of the Gurus.

Pakhawaj

The Pakhawaj is a trapezoid-formed hammered dulcimer or string musical instrument made of the Pakhawaja or Mridang is an Indian barrel-molded, two-headed drum, a variation and relative of the older mridang.

Taarshehani / Esraj / Dilruba

Like the Taus, the Dilruba was also blessed by the tenth Guru, Gobind Singh Ji. It is another instrument that he designed and created. Dilruba is Persian for ‘heart stealer’ – the instrument has a wonderfully engaging sound which captures your heart in an instant.
